Kat Harrod
Kat is a clinical acupuncturist, certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine), and licensed by the state of North Carolina. She graduated from Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine and has since worked in both private and community acupuncture settings, and has experience with a wide range of health issues and conditions.
Kat was drawn to Chinese Medicine, in part, because of its holistic view of the human as an integration of body, mind and spirit. But it was her own experience with acupuncture, and the increased well-being and vitality, that brought her to truly embrace Chinese Medicine. Kat deeply values the ability of Chinese Medicine and acupuncture to support the body’s natural intelligence for healing, wellness, and relaxation. She believes that due to the current pace and demands of our culture, that there is an increased need for self-care practices that help support and relax our nervous systems. Acupuncture is one such resource.
Kat enjoys helping and supporting others in their journey to increased health and well-being.
